TUT Re-Admission 2026 Online Application

Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has reopened its application process for previous applicants who need to reapply and for past students returning for the 2026 academic year. Applications are open from March to September. After this period, undergraduate programs will no longer be available, so interested students should apply soon. The application portal is currently open

TUT Re-admission is a season in which Durban and Cape Town students who were inactive or not registered before and up to the first semester of 2025 may apply for re-admission for 2026. Students will only be able to register for 2024 if their re-admission applications are approved by the Academic Department.

TUT Re-admission and Re-application 2026 Closing Date

The closing date for submitting Re-admission applications for 2026 is Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Because there will be no second or late application window, those seeking re-admission must submit their applications as soon as possible.

TUT Required Documents For Re-admission/Reapplication 2026

Prospective students seeking re-admission must be in possession of the following documents at the time of the online application.

International Applicants

Passport, and identification pages
Transcript, or latest academic result
Proof of registration at home university
Proof of medical insurance
Letter of recommendation
The Proof of application fee

Domestic Applicants

Recently certified (certification may not be not older than 6 months)
Copies of your original identity document
National Senior Certificate and highest academic results
The proof of application fee.

How to Do Re-admission at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT)

Returning students seeking re-admission must follow the steps outlined below in order to submit their re-admission form to the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT):

Go to www.tut.ac.za, the TUT official website
Click on the Readmission icon
Log in to the application portal using your old student number and PIN:
Read and accept the rules and regulations.
Select your qualification from the drop-down menu or type it in to see available programs.
Save and continue after choosing your course.
Accept and submit your application.
Upload all outstanding documents

TUT Re-admission Courses and Requirements

You must meet the qualification’s individual subject admission requirements. In addition, you must meet the minimum Admissions Point Score (APS) requirements for the qualification for which you are applying.

You also need to pass your National Senior Certificate (NSC) before you can get an acceptance letter from TUT. A mark above the average may guarantee admission to the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).
