The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) invites applications for re-admission from students who were not registered during the primary 2026 admissions cycle. The application period commences on 01 April 2026. Due to a strict no-late-application policy, eligible students are encouraged to apply immediately.

When to Re-apply at TUT

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) is now accepting re-admission applications for the 2027 intake. The application period runs from 01 April 2026 to 30 September 2026.

Applicants are advised that this deadline is final and no late submissions will be entertained. We encourage all returning students to apply via the portal as early as possible within this timeframe.

Criteria for Readmission at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT)

TUT Re-admission is a season in which Durban and Cape Town students who were inactive or unregistered prior to and up to the first semester of 2026 may apply for re-admission to TUT in 2027. Students will be able to register for 2027 only if the Academic Department approves their re-admission applications.

How to Re-apply

Applicants are required to follow the manual submission process for the 2027 TUT readmission:

  • Download the re-admission form from the official TUT portal.

  • Complete the form manually in black ink.

  • Affix all relevant supporting materials.

  • Dispatch the full application package to the university’s official mailing address.

Required Documents For Re-admission at TUT For 2027

Failure to attach the following documents  will result in your application being discarded

  • Medical Certificates, Proof Of Hospitalization, and Affidavit (If Applicable)
  • National Senior Certificate and highest academic results
  • A clear copy of your ID document should be attached to all E-mailed and Faxed
