The Cape Peninsula University of Technology’s (CPUT) re-opened programs and courses are open to a limited number of students, including:

If you’re a prospective student who didn’t apply during the initial application period, you can take advantage of this opportunity to secure a spot in a CPUT program for 2025.
If you’re currently enrolled in another institution and wish to transfer to CPUT, you can also apply during this period.
Existing CPUT students who wish to switch to a different program can apply to the re-opened spaces.

To complete your late application successfully, you’ll need to provide the following documents and meet specific academic qualifications:

Documents Required

A certified copy of your South African ID or passport for international students.
Certified copies of your most recent academic transcripts, including matriculation results if applicable.
A copy of the application fee payment receipt (R150 Non-refundable).
Minor applicants must submit a Minor Application Declaration
Any additional supporting documentation that is required for specific programmes

To apply for any of CPUT’s various courses, every applicant, whether South African or overseas, must pay a non-refundable application cost of R150.00
