CPUT Online Late Applications 2026 Now Open/ CPUT Re-Open 2025 Applications: Apply Now and Secure Your Spot!

Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) has officially opened late applications for the 2026 academic year, starting from November 6, 2025. Prospective students who missed the initial deadline can apply online at www.cput.ac.za/apply. The late application period will run from November 6 to November 30, 2025; however, applications for a course will close once it reaches full capacity.

The late application window provides an opportunity for those who were unable to complete their applications before the deadline, as well as for individuals who have not yet started their applications. In addition, all returning CPUT students who are completing their undergraduate degrees are welcome to apply during this period.

Who Can Apply for CPUT Courses Still Open for 2026

Below is the breakdown of all eligible applicants for the Cape Peninsula University of Technology’s 2026 late application (second application window), which is currently open:

  • New applicants – Prospective students who did not apply during the initial application period now have the opportunity to secure a place in a CPUT programme for 2026.

  • Transfer applicants – Students currently enrolled at another institution who wish to transfer to CPUT.

  • Programme changers – Existing CPUT students who would like to switch to a different programme (subject to availability of space).

  • Returning students – CPUT students who previously interrupted their studies and would like to continue.

  • Phasing-out programmes – Students applying for programmes that are in the process of being phased out (where applicable).

CPUT Late Application Requirements For 2026

To complete your late application successfully, you’ll need to provide the following documents and meet specific academic qualifications:

Documents Required

  • A certified copy of your South African ID or passport for international students.
  • Certified copies of your most recent academic transcripts, including matriculation results if applicable.
  • A copy of the application fee payment receipt (R150 Non-refundable).
  • Minor applicants must submit a Minor Application Declaration
  • Any additional supporting documentation that is required for specific programmes

CPUT Late Application Fee Required For 2026

To apply for any of CPUT’s various courses, every applicant, whether South African or overseas, must pay a non-refundable application cost of R150.00

How to Apply at CPUT For 2026 Late Enrolment

Online Application

  • Go to the application portal at www.cput.ac.za.
  • Click on the APPLY NOW link to apply
  • Select “Apply Now” and follow the online application process.
  • Complete all required fields and upload your documents.
  • Pay the application fee online.
  • Review your application for accuracy and submit it.

Manual Application: Unless unless otherwise stated, all late applications will be processed online. If applicants still need manual applications, follow the instructions below.

  • Obtain a hard copy of the CPUT application form from the university’s admissions office or download it from the official website.
  • Fill out the application form accurately.
  • Attach all required documents.
  • Make a certified copy of your application fee payment.
  • Submit your completed application form and documents to the CPUT admissions office in person or by mail.
