There is a non-refundable application fee of R200. Submit the application fee electronically through the CPUT portal.

Step 3; Apply online
- Visit the CPUT online application portal at cput.ac.za and create an account.
- Follow the prompts to complete the application form and upload your documents.
- Once you’ve reviewed and confirmed all details, hit the “Submit” button and wait for confirmation.
Step 4: Pay the application fee
- Proceed to pay the nonrefundable application fee of R200 before the stipulated deadline. You can pay online using various secure payment methods.
Step 5: Track your application
- Regularly check your application status online. You will receive notifications regarding the progress of your application.
Step 6: Accept your offer (if applicable)
- If offered admission, you will need to accept the offer and pay the registration fee to secure your place.
Step 7: Register for your courses
- Once you have accepted the offer, you can proceed with registering for your chosen courses. Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) will formally open enrollment and registration on January 15, 2025, and close it on February 2, 2025, for the 2025–2026 academic year.
