CPUT 2025 Registration Dates Open

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) will commence academic registration for approved students for the 2025 intake on Monday, January 13, 2025. The registration session, which is both online and on-campus, will last until February 7, 2025. Students must have an admission letter to register and register as soon as possible to ensure their seat.

First-Year Student Enrollment Deadlines

Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Undergraduate Admission and Registration Period for the 2025 academic intake are as follows:

Off-Campus and Online Registration Period: Tuesday, 21 January 2025 – Friday, 7 February 2025
Final Evaluation (Screening) of 2024 NSC Results: Thursday, 16 January 2025 – Wednesday, 22 January 2025
Registration for Accepted Students (2023 or earlier): Starting from Tuesday, 21 January 2025

Returning Students Registration: Key Dates and Timelines

For Returning Undergraduate Students (including Advanced Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma programmes)

Online and Off-Campus Academic Registration Period (with assistance): Monday, 13 January 2025 – Friday, 31 January 2025
Faculty-Specific Registration Timelines: Timelines vary by faculty. Refer to the registration booklet for detailed information specific to your program.

How to Register

Now you may register for CPUT’s first semester modules from the comfort of your own home! Simply use your computer, tablet, or smartphone to access the online registration portal. The online portal allows you to start and complete the registration form.

What you’ll need:

Internet Explorer 7 or higher
Adobe Acrobat Reader 7 or higher

Once you have the above, you can visit the registration portal, complete the form, upload all required documents, and pay the registration fee. Once you have completed these steps, you will receive a notification stating, “Congratulations! You have successfully completed your online registration at CPUT.”
