How to Reapply at Nelson Mandela University
To reapply for the Nelson Mandela University 2026 readmissions, kindly follow the steps below
- Go to www.mandela.ac.za.
- Click on STUDY@NMU at the top of the page.
- Select Apply Now and choose the Returning Student tab.
- Enter your student number and PIN to access the portal.
- If you forgot your PIN, click Request a PIN, enter your student number, and check your registered email for the new PIN.
- Once logged in, fill in all the required fields.
- If you prefer, download the application form from the NMU website, complete it manually, and submit it.
- Submit your completed form in person at any of NMU’s four campuses or send it via post to the university.
Documents Required for NMU Re-applications
The following documents must be ready at the time of application and submission:
- Grade 11 Year-End Results (if you are still in school), or
- Final Grade 12 Results (if you have already completed high school).
- Scanned Copy of School Results
- Certified Academic Record and Certificate of Conduct – (Transfer student)
- Proof of Application Fee Payment (International students).
- Certified copy of your identity document
- Disability assessment form
- Copy of your current residential/home or postal address
