The university has officially announced the opening date for the 2025/2026 academic year. Additionally, they have set deadlines for applications to various programs and courses.
This is a friendly reminder to ensure you meet all the admission requirements if you plan to enroll at Stellenbosch University for the upcoming academic year.

Stellenbosch University Opens Admissions for 2025/2026 Academic Year
Stellenbosch University admissions for the 2025/2026 academic year will open on Monday, April 1, 2024. This is the only time applicants can apply for admission to their desired courses or programs. All new and returning applicants who are interested in the available courses are encouraged to apply starting on this date. The application portals and tools will be available from April 1, 2024 onwards.

Application Fee Information for 2025/2026 Intake
The application fee for the 2025/2026 academic year at Stellenbosch University has not yet begun. While the cost has been announced, the official start date for accepting the application fee is April 1, 2024. Applicants will be able to make payments at that time through Stellenbosch University’s payment channels listed on the official website. The application fee is R100 and is non-refundable.
Stellenbosch University Supporting Documents for 2025/2026 Intake
Starting April 1, 2024, Stellenbosch University will be accepting applications and supporting documents for the 2025/2026 academic year. This includes scanned copies of all required documents alongside the application form.
The application portal will only become available after the official opening date, which is from April 1, 2024.
