Tshwane University of Technology is presently accepting applications from all prospective undergraduate and graduate students for the 2026 academic year. To finish the application as quickly as possible, students should go to www.tut.ac.za and follow the on-screen directions. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications early, as spaces are limited.

How to Apply for Admission at TUT

TUT offers both online and manual application options. Prospective students can apply through the official TUT online portal or submit a hard copy application via post or in person at a TUT campus.   • Click on the STUDY@TUT icon
  • Log in to the application portal using your ID number:

  • Save and continue after choosing your course.
  • Complete all mandated fields
  • Accept the Rules.
  • Click on Submit
  • Upload all outstanding documents

TUT 2026 Application Deadline

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) will close all undergraduate, postgraduate, and international applications for the 2026 academic year on September 30, 2025. Late applications may be considered only if there are available courses after the deadline.

TUT Application Fee Requirements

All applicants, both new and returning students, are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of R240. TUT accepts only bank and online payments. Applications without proof of payment will not be processed.
