Do you want to apply to Walter Sisulu University (WSU) for the academic year 2023/2024? Despite the fact that the official deadline has passed, the university continues to accept new applicants as soon as possible. This period is intended to give applicants who were unable to apply the opportunity to submit their application forms as soon as possible. There are still courses and faculties at Walter Sisulu University (WSU) that accept new students. If you do not apply by the September deadline, you may have to reapply the following year.
Late admission application dates
Walter Sisulu University (WSU)’s management has announced the application deadlines for late entrants. The official deadline for general applications will be in a few weeks, and late applications are expected to begin immediately after the deadline. Because there are only a few slots available, late admissions will be available for a limited time.
Required documents for Late admissions
Late applicants are to submit the following documents as early as possible. Applications submitted without any of these documents will be declined for admission.
- A copy of your ID or birth certificate.
- Copies of parents’, guardians’, or spouse’s national identification cards
- If necessary, provide proof of income or a year’s worth of IRP5.
- Proof of income from your parents, guardians, or spouse
- A completed and signed Disability Annexure A form: All applicants with disabilities should complete and submit this Form.
- An applicant identified as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development must also submit a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has removed the requirement for documents to be certified.
