Is CPUT Closed For 2025-2026 Application
Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) is currently accepting applications for the academic year 2025-2026. Prospective students who haven’t applied yet can still do so, as the application window will remain open until March 2025. The application period began on May 13, 2024, and will continue until March 2025 when the university will close all applications and begin the selection process. Therefore, there’s still time to apply to study at CPUT, with the deadline extended to March 2025.
Application Closing Dates for 2025-2026 at CPUT
Undergraduate course applications at CPUT close on September 30, 2024, while postgraduate applications close on March 15, 2025. Late undergraduate applications may be considered in February 2025 if space permits, but it’s advisable to apply early. CPUT Closing Date for Application Fee payment for 2025-2026
Prospective applicants should note that applying online at CPUT is free, while manual applications incur a R100 processing fee. Failure to pay this fee by the deadline results in rejection of the application. Payment proof must accompany supporting documents. Late applications (after September 30, 2024, and March 15, 2025) will be subject to a R150 fee.

Document Submission and Upload Deadlines
Despite the fact that the deadline has been extended until March 2024, we encourage you to apply and submit all documents as soon as possible. The following documents must be received by the CPUT admission office by the deadline, either online or by mail, depending on the qualification for which you wish to apply.

- Minor Application Declaration (Less than 18 years)
- English Proficiency
- English Translation Final Grade 11 equivalence results
- Final Grade 12 equivalence results
- Letter confirming registration for upgrading of results

How to Apply online at CPUT
You must submit your application as soon as possible because the application period is limited. Because the application window at CPUT is still open, apply now by following the instructions below. - Select a qualification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Complete the form
- Download the application form and complete it manually or complete the online application form by following the screen instructions
Step 3: Upload and Submit the forms
- Gather your documents or upload further/ outstanding documents.
- Pay the application fee if you applied manually
- Send in your form and documents to the designated channel
- Submit them online if you completed the online application form

There are two ways to obtain an application form for admission: You can download a PDF version of the form to print at home or pick up a printed form from the Registration and Applications Office on each campus.
