Students looking for the Nsfas online application opening date can now relax because the Nsfas online application is now open to all South African citizens for the academic year 2024-2025. The Nsfas online application form will be available from September 28, 2023, to January 31, 2024. There are numerous methods for submitting your Nsfas application. NSFAS Online Application Dates Form for 2024-2025
The Nsfas is currently accepting new applications from all eligible South African applicants and students for the academic year 2024-2025. The online application portal and forms for the Nsfas will be open on September 28, 2023, and will close on January 31, 2024. Nsfas will not accept applications received after January 31, 2024, so apply now or never.

Prospective students interested in applying for Nsfas funding must submit all application forms, including any required or supporting documents, by January 31, 2024. Because Nsfas does not tolerate late applications, you are urged to submit your forms on or before January 31, 2024. What you will need to apply for the Nsfas Online Application Form 2024-2025
During the application process for Nsfas online, you must submit the following documents. Please keep in mind that your application forms will not be processed unless you provide these documents.
- A photocopy of your South African identification document or card
- To replace ID documents, a student under the age of 18 must have a birth certificate.
- Nsfas will require your parents’ or guardians’ ID cards.
- If your parents have died, please provide a death certificate.
- At least three of your relatives should serve as witnesses. Nsfas will need their ID cards.
- Students who are working at the time of application must provide proof of annual income. This could be your pay stub, bank statement, or other documents showing how much you earn per year.
- a copy of your highest academic degree
- A fully completed consent form signed by those on the forms who matter
- Download and complete the DISABILITY ANNEXURE A form if you are a student with a disability.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING
- All of your documents must be certified at your local police station.
- The certification period cannot exceed 90 days.
- To attend a public university or TVET college, students must be enrolled.

How to Apply for Nsfas Online for 2024-2025
To apply for Nsfas online, go through the following steps.
- Go to www.nsfas.org.za
- Select the myNSFAS option.
- Select the Register tab.

- Enter your SA ID and full name
- Please enter your email address.
- Enter your phone number here.
- Make a strong password.
- Enter your password again to confirm it.
