CPUT Late Applications 2025 Closing Date

CPUT is accepting late applications for available undergraduate courses for the 2025 academic year. Prospective students should apply promptly, as late applications are only open for a limited number of courses and the closing date is approaching.

CPUT Late Application Open for 2025 Academic Year

Prospective applicants who missed the initial application window can now apply for available courses for the 2025 academic year. CPUT late applications are open from November 1, 2024, until 2025.

Closing Dates for CPUT Late Applications 2025

Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) has extended the application deadline for certain programs, including Higher Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s, B.Ed., Advanced Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, and Honours programs, to 13 January 2025. Applications for Master’s and Doctoral programs remain open until 14 March 2025.

Who can Apply for late applications at CPUT FOR 2025

If you fall into any of the following categories, you are eligible to submit a late application.

Applicants with only 1 or 2 choices during the normal application timeline.
Applicants who missed the normal application deadlines.
No 4th choice will be considered for late applications.
Students transferring from other universities.
CPUT students who took a study gap.
Phasing out courses.

How to Apply 2025 Late application at CPUT

To apply for your course at the undergraduate level, complete these procedures.

Step 1: Qualification

Select a qualification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Complete the form

Download the application form and complete it manually or complete the online application form by following the screen instructions
Completed application forms and accompanying documents must be submitted to the Admissions Office. You can submit your application form and accompanying documents in two ways:
- Forms can be hand-delivered at the campus where the programme is offered. The venues for the offering of all programmes are outlined in the application form.
- Forms can also be posted to the Admissions Office at the campus where the programme is offered

Step 3: Upload and Submit the forms

Gather your documents or upload further/ outstanding documents.
Pay the application fee if you applied manually
Send in your form and documents to the designated channel
Submit them online if you completed the online application form.

Application Fee Requirements (CPUT Late Applications)

You must pay a non-refundable R150 late application fee. This fee will be required of all applicants submitting late applications. You must submit proof of payment with your application.

CPUT takes cash, direct deposits, postal orders, and bank-guaranteed cheques. Late candidates must pay the non-refundable application fee on or before the deadline and submit proper proof of offline payments.
